Getting Permission

The problem with trying to get hunting & coursing permission is the fact the each and every farmer has had idiot after idiot knocking on their doors asking for permission.
I've been in this position many times with farmers saying everything from no to things you can't repeat here.
the problem being that those farmers who have let people on have often been let down by people who they have allowed on eg: gates left open strangers taken on and they have all had there fare share of poachers who often steal things on their way through.
unfortunatly we all then get tard with the same brush.
the only way you are going to get permission is to spend a lot of time traveling round to see farmers (phone calls are no good) let them see you tell them exactly what you intend to do (lamping feretts ect) and above all else offer to lend a hand at times when they are busy ie: hay making, fencing and also be polite when they say no. as i've been shouted back more than once when i've been polite then walked away from a farmhouse door.
but just keep trying and once you get some never take anyone with you as permission is easy'er lost than obtained.
