MEN GO INTO A HOTEL.

THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30

SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25

SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.

ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN,

SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.

THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27

ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?

There are $25 at the desk, $3 in the room and $2 in the bellboy's pocket = $30

..................going for a lie down in a darkened room now.

but....

each paid $10 and got back one which means each paid $9 and 3x9=27 and the bellboy has $2 so that makes $29 ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

im going mad here :rant: tell me please where has the $1 gone :wacko:

Now ....... each man paid $10........ the room was $30. OK, evenly split they should have got $1 .66.3 back(5.00 split 3 ways), but they only got $1 which leaves 3x.66.3=$1.98.9 or rounded up $2+ thier $3.00 = $5.00.

The bellboy will go far if he uses that maths though :thumbsup: (decimal points) :thumbsup:

the 3 men paid $10 each = $30

then they returned $5 , $3 to the men and $2 to the bell boy so each man paid $9 each =£27 plus the $3 they had returned to them $27 +$3 = $30 . :blink:
