Hi I have a 7 months old italian greyhound who is a rather fussy eater and I worry about her getting the needed nutrition at this growing stage. I have already noticed her coat thinning under her chin, belly and a little on her head. She is otherwise good weight wise, happy and bouncy. We tried dry and wet of all sorts and she currently eats Natures Menu puppy wet food - chicken and lamb and chicken and turkey. We will se how long that will last

Can someone recommend good puppy food supplements and best quality puppy food dry or wet?

Many thanks

You will get soo much advice on feeding and everyone will say theirs is best.

The Natures Menu is a nice product and their frozen complete meals are even better, just as convenient as dry kibbles.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using the Natures Menu tins or pouches, if your puppy is happy to eat these and everything is ok then I would stick with it. If you are concerned with calcium intake , then I would suggest giving a raw chicken wing or nect 2-3 times a week.

This well made product should not need any added vitamins etc, but you could always get some "Smart Barf" (this is a fantastic dried suppliment) frequently used by raw feeders but will be fine added to a wet menu too. The Natures Menu products also make themselves a "Natural Boost" of Vitamins and Minerals in a lovely frozen fruit and vegetable mix, this can also be added to your wet product but there is usually enough fruit and vege added to their products.

Best wishes.

I agree with all of the above.

I would, however, just get the vet to check the hair loss in case it is not diet related.
