I'm over dressing for bed

Little H banged her head badly before bed, so I've sat up watching her sleeping. Every time I think I can log off and visit the land of nod, she fidgets her quilt off again

That's it then. Sticky footed eyore socks (so I don't slip on the laminate), the warmest jama bottoms, and a fleece jumper for bed then, if I'm jumping in and out of bed all night...

... and a fresh hot water bottle

James got in from his village Xmas boys night out at 5.30am after us discussing he wouldn't carry on drinking at one of the boy's houses because we have a school run at 8 and my chest doesn't take kindly to the morning air.

You can imagine how happy I am and he is on the sofa!

Hoping the world won't end today as I've spent a fortune on Xmas :lol:

aint stopped raining ere thats 41 hours now without abreak, all my gear is wet boots and everythink so well peeved off,

The rain has stopped here now, thankfully. There were mixed reports of a nearby river bursting its banks. I hope it subsided before doing any damage
