It has been too hot for long rambles recently, so an hours walk around the town and through the shady country lanes had to suffice this afternoon.

Fred said he wished we could live in some of the lovely cottages up on the hill, 'cos they are much bigger than ours with a proper garden.....

...here he is posing in front of his favourite:

' My favourite one is down there. Think of the views', says Stan.

'Yep..not bad', agrees Fred.

Not sure about the neighbours though....don't look too friendly!

This one looks quite nice...lovely garden.....(excuse the washed out skies, it went quite dull and humid this afternoon).

..and here's a miscellaneous hedgerow shot...'cos I quite liked it. :- "

(w00t) Wow...she's used the hair straighteners too. What a fringe! She's far too good for our local bull! :p

Lol, love the bull-talk

Great pics as usual Nicola. That hedgerow one is superb. Reminds me of the old Silvikrin ads where they used to hairspray the dandelion clock for "firm but invisible hold"

Those cottages are delightful Nicola- tell Fred ( ) to make sure the one he chooses has room for me too :D
