While browsing a few dogs homes and rescue places for a whippet earlier i found this charming little fellow up for adoption in freshfields,not gonna get him but thought you`d like to see him!The bandage is bigger than him

Not sure how he got his injury it didn`t say but he`s at the freshfields rescue place if anyone wants the little feller.Looks a bit too vicious for me!

He doesn't appear to be on Fresh fields site now so hopefully he is in a new home.

I initially thought the pic was a set up. Why would a tiny dog like that have a cast that big if not for a photo joke. Am I being a bit thick here and cannot see it was a joke.

Looking through the list on this site, there are so many unwanted dogs, mostly big dogs including several lurchers. Some really lovely dogs here.

:rant: Makes me so angry when some people so readily disown a dog they have had for years. Although the dogs probably had a very rough existence with these people anyway if they are the type who just get rid of them because of changes in their circumstances. Treating dogs like an easily disposable item. Had enough of the dog get rid.

Megan a 5 year old lurcher, needs rehoming because the owner is having a baby.

Another- 10 year old GSD X came into Freshfields because his owner is pregnant.

Herbie another lurcher , abandoned, tied to a fence in the middle of nowhere, luckily he was found in time.

Some nice dogs at this rescue, hope they get a loving home they deserve soon.
