I thought that I'd just write to let people know that I have been notified that some of the dogs that I've posted here have been found. Because we have an automated removal point these recovered dogs hardly ever seem to get posted on the K9 board as they've already been deleted. :b
I thought that I should post this as otherwise people will think that none of the dogs I post here ever get reunited with their dogs. For instance I posted about this one a few weeks ago.
Lurcher -Saluki x-bitch (neutered)
Smooth coated
Black and tan
Tan points. White toes, white chest, white on last 3 -4 ins. of tail.
Microchipped
Height: 24-25 ins.
Age: 18 months
Wearing a black greyhound type collar
Name is "Lizzie" (aka Izzy)
Went missing from: Stalham, Norfolk on 6/5/03
Circumstance of loss: Dog was rehomed to present owner on 2/5/03. Was taken to Norfolk and escaped from owner's sister's house in Stalham in the evening of 6/5/03
Additional Info: Dog is EXTREMELY timid, especially nervous of men and will run away if approached.
She walked into an old peoples' home on her own! They reported her to the police, who had a lost dog report filed and they put two and two together
