After months of poor attendances and off for the winter today saw a good start of the handicap with 12 dogs, 6 in the lightweight and
6 in the heavyweight.
The lightweight winner was Julie and Brian Stevens Kiwi Vampire (Kipper x Crystal Bay) better known as Ezra, Waterfords little brother. He was off 18 and won from Audrey Johnson's Sky Rocket (Rocky).off 21. This was a first time for both these boys. Third was Sue and Terry Ward's Carolina off the mark of 13
Heavyweight winner was Shirley Ashworth's Spider's Lady (Spellbound x Show Time) off 29 from Sue and Terry's Dixie Belle off 25 and Orlando also 25.
If anyone lives in the vicinity or is on holiday near Fordingbridge and has a whippet, be it pedigree, cross bred or pet, please come and join us. Ring 01425 627445 for the Sunday's we will be racing.
