We were not sure if we would get a race meeting today. The weather forecast said showers all day so we took a chance and travelled down to the New Forest. Although it was dull, windy, and a little chilly we did get a few trials and a few races
in. We also had a couple of new prospective members, so hopefully our numbers will grow next year.
jane Severn came along with her pedigrees, and her dog Tia showed the way home to Kiri & Silk.
We only gave our own dog Chalky ( Sun Up ) a couple of solos just to keep him ticking over for the NNWRF Bend Champs.
Steve & Jenny gave Connors Whisper a couple of solo's, and she is keen enough.
Race 1/
Joseph 26lb 2nd
Spiders Legacy 24lb 3rd
Ollie 22lb 4th
Connors Willow 21lb 1st
Willow had been given her 3yd puppy lift in this race
Race 2/
Jesus 20lb 2nd
Poppy 19lb 1st
Miss Gracie 17lb 3rd
Jane gave her other two peds a run up together with Stewie taking the honours from Lottie
The secound round of racing was the same format with exactly the same results, all the dogs were trying very hard
and some of them are not out of puppy hood yet so hopefuly there is more to come from them.
To all the Fordingbridge Wrc members just to remind you that the AGM is on Sunday Nov 7th at the Ship Inn
We will open the meeting promptly at 11.00am as the landlord has kindly agreed to open the bar area for us to use before it is open to the public at 12 noon. Some of our members are staying on afterwards to have a meal, so if that is what you would like to do you will need to book a table when we start our meeting.
After the meeting I will be posting some news concerning our camping week-end, so anyone interested in camping with us
please check on this web site sometime after Nov 7th.
regards
Doreen
