Fizz, the little foster kitten is making very good progress with her leg. When we are in I let her out of the crate to wander around & she is slowly starting to bear some weight on her bad leg. Only for 1 step but even that is better than before.

The dog situation has changed,

Hebe is no longer scared of her & they have been nose to nose. Fizz must be able to tell that Hebe is no threat to her :b

Scrumpy is still a bit unsure & has had her nose swatted once or twice today.

Raffertys latest strategy is... the minute I open the door of the crate & Fizz comes out..... he goes in & lies there in great hope that she'll walk back in  He is such a dim dog  this afternoon I just shut the door & he stayed in there for about 2 hours waiting

Anyway, if things carry on like this I think Fizz may regain the use of her leg, so fingers XXXX

What a dear little face she has - best of luck, Fizz :luck: :huggles: :luck:

Fizz is so pretty. :huggles:  Hope her leg continues to improve. :luck: :luck:

Go Fizz go... keep up the progress :huggles:  :luck: :luck:

I'm glad he's keeping you amused Nicola :) He's in the crate again right now  & Fizz is roaming all over the room, getting more & more use out of her leg :D

This pic should be captioned "Stand off!!" Raffy just lay there staring at the kitty & she just stared back. Brave little thing :)

Lol at Rafferty. Wee honey!!

Good to hear the leg is improving!

Fizz is coming on in leaps & bounds...literally :teehee:

She has regained so much use of the leg over the past 24 hours. She still has a slight limp but it's amazing how much better it is :))

And the really great news is that she has a home waiting for her when she is o.k. to be rehomed. She will be going to live with a lady who had a cat off us 18months ago & would like another. I took Fizz to meet her & her cat tonight & all seemed to go well

So how things have changed in a week, this time 7 days ago we were looking at a homeless 3 legged kitten & now she's a fully mobile kitty with a home :D

fantastic news  ,well done to all

Winderful news, I'm delighted for Fizz......

But what will poor Rafferty spend his days doing now once the kitten goes to it's new home???

FINAL UPDATE

Fizz went to her new home today :) The lady has just moved house yesterday & wanted to introduce Fizz to her other cat on neutral territory rather than move Fizz into her old house only to move her again 2 weeks later.

The other cat is quite shy & hid in her carrying basket whilst cheeky Fizz made herself right at home

Hopefully I'll be getting the odd update on her every now & then. We've had her here for just over 4 weeks & she the perfect guest :b

To look at her running around now you would never be able to tell she had had a problem with her leg.

A happy ending :huggles:
