These are the Sea Lions which come rest off one of the piers, it has been made a designated nature area, they swim in and out ot the bay with no restrictions. Most of them are males who come in when breeding season has finished. Some of them had old Shark bites on them

thats my old stomping ground.i lived in alameda, san francisco for years.ive still got dual nationality,might go back for a visit one day theres some cracking fish bars and restaurants on fishermans wharf
