Can anyone telll me is it normal for a bitches first season to be short?
When Tegan's pups were 5mths old Tegan had her first season after their birth. We were expecting her to come in early as the boys were paying a lot of interest in her.
She has always been in season for exactly 21 days but this time she does not
appear to be as swollen as she was a couple of days ago also if any of the boys go near to her cage she will snap at them .
This is normal behaviour for her when she is going out of season usuallythe last few days . The thing is she has only been in season for 14 days. Bandit the pups dad has hardly paid any attention o her at all and he is normally the worst one with her
This is her 4th season and all the others have been 6 mths after the last one and lasted for 21 days Is it normal for this one to be different? She is fine in herself not eating very well but she never does when in season and has not lost any weight
Just to let you know Magie is settling back in well and is begging to show sighns of her former self (naughty)
