Fern is now 5 1/2 months old i thought i'd share a few pics with you all as i promised to keep you all informed with her progress.

Over the past three weeks i havn't done much training with her only walking her. But i thought i'd make an effort today and get a few pictures of her for you all.

Fern's training has been really straight forward so far she was lead trained at 3 months and walks to heal off lead. She will sit to whistle and hand command. She will retrieve a puppy dummy from cover and today i gave her 5 blind retrieves in sugarbeet and she found and retrieved all three which i was really pleased with.

Fern is a pedigree Labrador (working lines) and will be a working dog. She may get entered in field trials when she's older.

She's a cracker Paul. it's really good to see a dog doing what it is bred for.

My friend bought an Italian Spinone to show - it wasn't for her and now she has 2 that she does trials with, she said that it beats showing hands down!! I think you would agree!! :- "

Isn't she beautiful, and coming on so well
