Feeding

Plan to feed a 8week Pup raw Minced meat, with a bit of veg supplemented with seaweed powder and Brewers yeast,

in the morning I plan to give foldhill Puppy biscuit soaked in Goats milk, would you feed the biscuit or replace it with a puppy complete,

will also feed sardines once a week and pup will have bones.

The Foldhill biscuit is a mixer and not a complete food - it should be fed mixed with meat and not on its own.

You don't need to feed complete if you're going down the raw feeding route. Just several meals of meat and mixer per day plus bits a pieces of veg, sardines etc

sorry my post was not clear I am well aware that foldhill puppy is a mixer,I was just wondering if I should use it, or a complete for breakfast as I want to include one meal with Goats milk., I have also received a large amount of free samples from different companies. and it would be good to get rid of it, but I realise that all these different completes would give the scoots.

Chuck the free complete samples out and feed the Foldhill puppy. I reared my latest pup on fold hill puppy mixed with raw. Goats milk and weetabix for breakfast or rice pudding. I also give him cod liver oil and yeast tablets. Plus bones for the calcium, I think you went through all this on TWF????

Natural is best! My pack have raw green tripe, raw chicken carcasses and raw mince. (frozen first), meaty bones, lamb ribs etc, fold hill, toasted wholemeal crusts. and as I said cod liver oil etc. Sprats fresh! tinned sardines. Raw spinach which they love.

Dorwest herbs keepers mix is good.

I would be interested to hear when you get you pup!!!!!!!!! Plus a pic.
