:huggles: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RACE OF THE YEAR? BENDS OR STRAIGHTS WHICH ONE IS YOUR PARTICLAR FAVOURITE? ;)

MINE HAS TO BE THE SCOTTISH DERBY I DONT KNOW WHY BUT IT ALWAYS SEEMS A BIT SPECIAL. (maybe its the pipers or the greasy breakfasts from the cafe across the road lol)

I have to say that Scotland is my favourite place of all times :p so i am going to say my favourite venue is the scottish derby, :D before that though the derby was held at Dingwall :p we have many brilliant memories of the times we spent racing up there :D and i think there will never ever be a place to equall it  or do you know differently......... :teehee: second best venue has to be the English Derby held at Newton Aycliffe.......the facilitys are next to none.. brilliant.

:rolleyes:YES JOEJESS I WENT TO DINGWALL THE LAST YEAR IT WAS THERE A HELL OF A DRIVE BUT HAVE 2 AGREE A GREAT PLACE. :p VERY SCENIC AND A LOVELY VILLAGE. 8)

:)) ENGLISH DERBY GREAT 2 ONLY ABOUT 40 MIN DRIVE 4 US SO I LOVE IT :*

THERE NO CAMPING LOL :p

Loved Dingwall when Scottish derby was there , don't mind Kilcady ..didnt enjoy last years much, don't know where it was having 10 days there or some of the really bad decisions made during the racing .

English derby has been good i have enjoyed them all, esp last 2 years as i don't have to camp. :D

Never been to Devon so cannot added on that one ..but going this year ;)

there's two for me.

gin pit open....ok im biased but it really was a good day

irg open at blidworth ...it was sooooooooo hot (my preggy belly got sunburnt) infact it did get too hot to race, but it was one of those days where everything was perfect company, weather, great racing etc

mine was the english derby and golden jacket weekend. I had a great time in the day and at nite  There were plenty of facilities aswell

 HIGHLAND DERBYS AT DINGWALL THE BEST EVENTS I ATTENDED I CAN STILL PICTURE IT NOW,THE CROWDS ON EITHER SIDE OFF THE LINE WERE SOMETHING SPECIAL GREAT DAYS

ALSO KIRCALLDY IS A GOOD EVENT

BOTH CHAMPIONSHIPS BWRA&NWRF

ENGLISH DERBY IS ANOTHER WELL RUN EVENT

Kirkcaldy and East Ayrshire without a doubt are great venues. :D and our favourites.

This year's BWRA champs. Eight hour's stuck in the car with the kid's fighting, Robbie winging and Robbie won  . It was fantastic :D .

We like the English Derby as it has loads for the kid's to do :D and it's only 4 hour's away.

DEVON, glorious Devon

A well run event by efficient racers, Joyce and Vern and Leslie and Mick

The sun usually shines and there's plenty of variety in the races which includes the IRG medals this year. Cullompton is a lovely little town with ideal pubs and eating places with take aways all within walking distance from the camping site.

Apart from this it is the only whippet racing camping for me to get to around the 100 miles mark. This I find is plenty to do each way I have been to Dingwall once many years ago and it was delightful but that along with the English Derby is just too far to travel from the south coast.

never been to devon but are booked for this year :p my two favorites are english and scottish derbys

has to be Gin Pit for me great first open great prizes, great organisers. great handicap. just GREAT.

we were sober girls last year due to us both being about 20 wks pregnant.......but we are deff gonna make up for it this year  . the beer in the pub at gin pit is really cheap and its really good.

Peter will be pleased to hear that Michelle, we look forward to attending this venue, :p I just hope that ( my girls) don't decide to have seasons again
