I have often wondered how an extreme lefthand runner on the straights ---runs on the bends with outside hare ?

Has any owner of such a dog noticed or even thought about it --

having never had one

I would like to hear what those who have------ comments are on subject-

also do the national organisations take note on it--?

thought this would be a good subject for comments

Steve

as most people will know my little xotic was an extreme right hand runner, we did give her a trial around the bends and she seemed ok (although she wasn't as extreme on solos on the straights either) however we decided not to risk her in company on the bends in case she went too right and ended up hurting herself or another dog

i dont know anything about bend racing but i wudve thought if they r a left hand runner on the straights then they wud b on the rail on the bends and if they r a right hand runner on the straights they wud run wide on the bends. i know when we trialled sparklin whizz on the bends she went very wide and shes an extreme right hand runner on the straights regardless of where the hare is on the straights she wud run to the right she even does it in a one to one run up. this of course is all JMO

Now Jack the lad was an extreme right hand runner on the straights, but when we bend raced him he ran middle to inside.

MY PIE AND MASH IS EXTREME WIDE STRAIGHTS AND EXTREME WIDE BENDS.

going back in time now

WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE used to take the paint off the inside rail on the bends but she never required a side on the straight she would go straight from any box

and yes Steve the NNWRF have been watching the seedings

Was that on an inside hare?

inside or outside even the drag lure they used to have at Easington

Blue Goblin was extreme right hand runner on straight and inside runner on bend ...but it was inside hare when she ran

wintermoon was a left side runner on straights and a inside runner on bends his brother on the ball was the same

My left hand runner went straight for the inside on her first bend trial and has never moved off the rail since, my right hand runner will run to the right of the other dogs regardless of whether they're running straight or bend.

Guess What was a right hand runner on straights and extreme wide runner on the bends. Little Flyer ran from any on straights but extreme railer on the bends.

Both mine will follow the lure, so on the straights one tends to go left a bit. On the bends one tends to go right at the traps
