Blew a hooley with lightening, from about midnight thru until early hours of the morning - all calm now but my garden fence has taken full force and now all I have is a big gap where it used to be

Done a quick fix for now but have to go and get new fence panels today and mend it PDQ

Other than that, everything else seems to be in the same place :lol: :thumbsup:

sorry to hear about your fence - glad nothing more serious - but fences are you most important commodity when it comes to Whips :huggles:

It is still here with a vengeance and blowing anything that gets in it's way.

The rain is heavy too

The poly tunnel we keep our lotus in is like some sort of mad flying thing.... we have had to take our lotus out of it and good job too as a panel blew out just after.

Neither of the boys are pleased as their morning walk has been cancelled and they are not overly keen to do their thing in the garden.... they have fastened themselves down on the sofa to ride it out.

We are on the Falmouth coast here and it is still raging!

LOL Jane, that made me smile as I thought I was the only one who said hooley and raining brave..... arhhhh tis so nice having another Cornish person... half the time no one understands me :lol:

Hi, it is till blowing a hooley here, am a couple of miles from the north coast of Cornwall surrounded by trees, the wind noise is really something, in the night I thought the roof was coming off at one point! It's chucking it down and some poor car transporter driver is trying to sort his truck out on the road outside.

Be glad when it's over all the dogs are fed up too. :- "

winds arent too bad , wheelie bins doing sprints up and down roads but rain is coming down rather harsh , dogs all refused a walk , so they are all in kitchen pretending they are asleep :- " :lol: must get some pics of the major pile up of iggies in the crate (w00t)

I don't believe it, there was I feeling sorry for the truck driver, just looked out and they are loading cars on the public highway. It is now fully loaded having caused havoc on this busy and dangerous road. :rant: :rant:

Sorry to hear you have all been having a bad time in the South. Hadn't heard anything myself until this thread, but hope the bad weather doesn't come here up north.

Sorry about your fence Jane,ours is still up at the moment as Rob only just mended it from the other week,so he must of done the job ok :sweating: still its not over yet (w00t)
