Open class bitches; Rivarco Queenbee Exc 1. CACIB Best of Breed

Just My Princess Romantika Exc 3 The judges were I believe Slovakian and German. Got a bit confusing as changes to judges were made in the last 5 minutes. Total whippets , less than 20. Anyone interested in full details or other breeds should try www.rsce.es . Regards to all, Stephen

thank you Stephen.

Is Keiko Z Uplnku black and white by any chance? Thought perhaps the name was from the Killer Whale from the movie "Free Willy"?

Aslan, Regret to show my ignorance but I don´t know and not having a show catalogue I cannot say from which country this dog originates. It is, however, interesting to see that the winners´ breeding such as Manoir de la Grenouillere and Rivarco are appearing in the British show rings. Regards, Stephen

And the Chacheran dog will be British/Du Manoir bred as well. I knew Jackie Bourdin was going ............... obviously knew something LOL! See, it happens all over the world!!!

Can´t count and I used to be an auditor, there were just over 40 whippets at the European Dog Show. As far as I can make out Jackie Bourdin has what I call an anglo/french line and an anglo/french/american line. I must ask her when she next comes to Madrid. In the meantime I shall visit the Spanish Kennel Club and obtain a catalogue. Regards Stephen

You are right Stephen. Jackie bought in a Bohem bitch, which is Sacha's maternal grandmother. She only has the one American bred though I think and a lot of Bo's go back to Hardknott Maestro anyway.

What about Normandy Social Standing - he was american, wasn't he? I must go check - he features in a lot of the dMdlG peds.

Yes, Ch. Normandy Social Standing was le Manoir´s first U.S. import to be followed later by Bohem´s Adam,s Rib which as Dessie says goes back to Hardknott and Madrigal. Le Manoir is now producing a combination of these 2 U.S. lines with the original British lines and her original French bitch and I am not sure whether she has kept a 100% British line. Le Manoir is now expecting a litter sired by a Fawnbree Wish Upon a Star she imported some 3 years ago and which we saw when we visited Le Peynaud. Due to the Manoir´s dominance and complete lack of British sires in Spain/Portugal our bitch produced one daughter 3 weeks ago. Her pedigree attached excluding the Nevedith is very similar to le Manoir´s current breeding. Hope you chaps are not becoming bored. Regards,Stephen. Looks like the file cannot be posted.
