hello everybody. Ellie is ten years old now and has a 4-5 level heart murmur. That's not the best when 6 is the worst.

Anyway, we've just returned for a caravan holiday but while we were away, Ellie had what I would call a funny turn. I turned round to see where she was and she appeared to be laying on her back, slowing flaying her legs around. It was almost as if she was doing slow cycling movements. Needless to say, i rushed over and when I tried, she couldn't stand. I then carried her back to the caravan and when we got there she was able to walk, albeit slowly and stilted. Now she seems to have made a full recovery but I can't find anything online which seems to replicate what happened. Was it a heart attack, a stroke or a seizure? I really don't know. Any hints?

Did you not take her to a vet? She needs a proper examination and diagnosis, which isn't something that should be attempted by forum members. I would take her to a vet asap so they can check her over, even if she does seem to be back to normal.
