elections of N/W regions BWRA

Can anybody tell me who when and where were our N/w  regions reps elected as we never hear of them only Michelle as far as i know i have never seen Linda Broom for over twelve months at any meetings?

I don't know what the ####'s happened as far as representitive's for the NW region goes, i think it's all just gone to pot.  I can only presume that Linda Broom has finished racing as, as you say she hasn't been seen at an open for ages, in fact i think the last time i saw her was at the NW bend open.  Michelle will reply and hopefully has an idea about what's going on.  Maybe we should organise a meeting to arrange what is to be done as far as the region goes i think it's about time people got their heads together or else the region is going to die.

Lin broom has'nt packed up racing, she was taking some time off because personal problems(not going into details), but she is chairperson, i am treasurer/registrar and tony took over as rep after batesons left. I have been told off lin that she will be back this year and if we can get enough support together to hold a regional meeting than lets all get together, In the past these meetings(we've had 2 since I took over for registrations in 4 yrs) have'nt been well supported, and maybe now our region is getting a bit short, it is about time we should do something, maybe we could hold a north west open jointly hosted by lancaster and gin pit? if we put our heads together surely there are enough braincells(maybe) to sort something out. Anyone interested email me!!!

I think it is about time something was sorted  for a meeting to take place because this thread just proves that the region don't know what's going on, i didn't even know Tony was rep.  Is this ever printed in whippet news i can't remember it!!!!

it was april 99 tony went on as a stand-in rep, and when batesons left he went on fully. I joined in 2000(both in whippet news), we had meetings 1999 at lancaster 7/2/99, and 2000 at kinsley and 2001 was cancelled due to no straight open.(I'm an idiot, I thought I had been on the BWRA longer than I had!!!)
