The good news is that the horrific lump on her neck seems to be a blocked salivary gland rather than anything more sinister, and the Sighthound Welfare Trust have offered to help towards her vet treatment to have this removed.
She's also got mange and arthritis, poor lass, and is in a generally poor state - probably dumped by travellers, but she has a spay scar so may well have been a pet at some stage who was stolen or strayed and ended up in the wrong hands.
