 Im fairly new to buying from ebay but yesterday bought something and used paypal to pay straight away. Today received an email from the seller asking me if I would retract. What would I need to do and does this happen often? the seller didnt say why.

Seller has made a binding contract with you to supply you goods, sometimes if an item has sold for a bargain price sellers try to retract it is their fault for not putting on a high enough reserve.stick it out and demand your goods any problems report them to ebay and paypal will return your money.good luck.

ask them why??? dont retract anything untill you have your money back, what is there feedback like?

retracting is through ebay where the buyer and seller mutualy agree to not go ahead with the sale, but if you have already paid for it then dont do this until your money has been refunded otherwise you may loose out.

there is nothing saying they have to send you the goods if they dont want to its anoying i know but thats the way it is, some people would rather risk bad feedback than loose out on the £££££

but there might be a genuine reason they want to do this ie, if it was a car and they have a crash on the sale day or if it was clothes and they washed them and the dye ran and they were wrecked.

if you want to pm me feel free as have been on ebay quite a while now and we have lernt the hard way from people who want to rip you off.

good luck :luck:
