EAWRC Racing to day Cancelled

Gavin has been to the ground this morning & finds that it is hard in various places.

He feels that it is advisable to not run and Cancell the meeting.

Due to long distances many people travel we agree.

Therefor NO RACING TODAY

Next meeting 10th March, hope to see you all, roll on the spring

Ah Dave I think that I know your Pip. I think that I have some photos of him when he was younger. Smallish blue masked fawn? Glad that you are enjoying him. I have his bigger bro and he's a real character. I don't know if you know the rule of thumb with peddie whippets but in case you don't at 12 weeks old double their weight and add a lb for a dog or take one off for a bitch and that will be their racing weight.. On the other hand wait to 13 weeks and then just double their weight. It's worked out right for all of mine.

So far we are lovin' the attitude of the pups.

I hope that we'll get to see Pip racing. Though we are on the other side of the country we do come over for opens. It's a shame that Newmarket haven't put on an open for awhile as we always loved them, well run opens and our dogs loved the track which always helps.

Anyway when we do get to meet you I'll bore you with introducing Pips dad, grandad and great uncle.

Can't quite believe that they are already 10 weeks old.
