I waited patiently for someone else to put this on but its all very quiet!! So.

BEST DOG AND BEST IN SHOW, :) :) BLANDINGS THE MAGICIAN AT MOLECAT (FRODO) :D :D

BEST BITCH, RBIS, KENNETTS, SELINKO SANDIE

BEST PUPPY, RICHARDSON, LEWCHER SUNSET

BEST VETERAN BAIRDS, SECRET BALLOT.

JUDGE CATHY BROWN.

Yes this was a shock because Frodo only went to keep Teeni (fawn) company because she thought she would do well :b

Fantastic news!! well done Karen & Frodo :D

Well done Karen and Frodo, but how did Teeni do? Sods law if she didn`t get placed isn`t it!Was it a good entry?

:D WELL DONE Karen & Frodo.......Great win. :D

Just to repeat what everyone else has said. Lets hope we can do the same at Whippet Club of Wales at the weekend.

Teeni was third, the entry wasnt massive but more enjoyable for the shock value as there was only a couple of brindles in an otherwise fawn entry.

I also heard that Frodo's brother is doing very well on the race track, has anyone seen him or got any news about him. Dont know what his racing name is and as he is 100% show bred Im sure he wasnt sold to race, he will have a sort of magic type name.

Good on you Karen and Frodo! What a lovely win! Got any new pics of him Karen? He would have matured a bit since the last pic of him on here, wouldn't he?

I am trying right now to get some pics of him Lana for an advert. He is sooo soppy its almost impossible. If you try to get a casual he just jumps up and comes to see you and the show shots are hopeless at home cos he doesnt understand and all the others want the bait and to see hat we are doing down the end of the garden. The other problem us brindle people have is, you can take a reasonable piccy in colour but when its turned into black and white for the paper the dog tonally disappears if your not careful. I have to find a really pale backdrop but not white or his neck vanishes and leaves his head in space :0

Anyone got any good ideas??

Tracey Morgan uses a blue backdrop which is quite good for the brindles and brindle particolours. She is usually at the local shows

Well done Karen!!

About time you had a website!! :p to put all your good news on! :D

Dessie, I havnt had much luck with photos at shows but the blue is just about right isnt it.

Dawn, Just waiting to get some half decent photos ;) :D :D

Yes Karen, blue is a good background, Millie and I have also used blue vetbed or a blanket as a backdrop for photos that we have taken.

Personally I would recommend that, if you are going to have a photo taken at a show though, the bestest photographer is Sue Domun, she has taken some cracking pictures of both Millie's and my dogs.

I think David Dalton was the best dog photographer but he dosn`t go round the shows anymore . Here`s one he took of Mayzee years ago, (when she was slim!!)

and heres one the right way up (the other was for you gang in Aussie land!!)esp Lana! it was a mistake really!!!!!!!!!!

Well that's not much good if he doesn't go to shows any more ........... bit difficult to get your dog photographed by him then!!! LOL

He might do it privately though!!

Aaaaw - good onya Jax! Thanks for the downunder reference ;) LOL

She looks excellent either way!
