This is probably a dumb question but whatever happened to black West Highland terriers?. Did they only exist on Gin bottles?

Yes, Scotties they are! Westies are white and a different shape :teehee:

But funny you should mention them,as we were at a Scottish Terrier all breed Open show the other week and I have to say that even there, there was'nt that many of them :blink:

unfortunately theyre going the way of most of our native breeds,soon theyll be extinct.we seem to be importing new foreign breeds all the time but the poor old natives seem to get overlooked.a lot of the english terrier breeds are very thin on the ground these days.shame really
