Where does the time go - it seems only yesterday I posted in 'Showing' that they'd arrived http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/index....showtopic=75811 and now we're at 5 weeks! Here's a link to their pedigree http://thewhippetarchives.net/testmating.p...3197&gens=5
I figured I'd share some pics in here as I know everyone loves puppies  Unfortunately I don't have any uploaded pictures from the last week as my desktop is in getting repaired (graphics card crashed and waiting on new one arriving), so best I can do is share the week 4 update.
Lots of 'firsts' this past couple of weeks. First real food, first eating from bowls, first foray into 'the great outdoors', first real interaction with the 'Aunties' Chelsea, Savannah and Granny Teya.
We took advantage of the gorgeous weather weekend before last and spent some time outdoors. After 10 minutes of sitting and whinging in the garden they got brave and explored. Now they're confident enough that even though it's got a bit cold we try and spend at least half an hour playing outside if it's not too cold. It's so cute - I take them out of their pen and then walk to the door and open it, then turn and clap my hands and call 'puppuppuppuppuppies' and they all come tumbling across the room and through the door, while the adults watch over them (and me too LOL) to make sure no one goes astray.
Auntie Chelsea Bear is sooo gentle with the puppies. It is the sweetest thing to watch her with them. She just absolutely adores them. Auntie Savvy goes from pretending they don't exist to getting all excited when she sees them running about and then back to ignoring them. Granny Teya has forgotten about her 'quiet voice' so play growls and shouts at the babies in her very loud 'I'm going to kill you' voice (the one she uses when playing with Drama) and the babies don't flinch at all. I always know if one's wandered somewhere I haven't seen because Teya will be with it rumbling at it to get back with the rest. And Drama spends her time going round checking everyone out. I think she's quite happy with the extra help from the Aunties.
When we're done playing outside I open the door again and go through and turn and do the same clapping and 'puppuppuppuppuppies' and they all come tumbling back in, do a minute or two exploring in the house, then come back to the door of the pen to be put back in. It's so cute.
Anyway, I've digressed.
I wanted to share some photo links and video links with you
