Dogs and Guinea Pigs

Hi there, I have a Crestapoo who I introduced this week to my friends guinea pigs that I am feeding whilst they are away. They got on brilliantly! Ted was nuzzling upto them and sniffing/getting very close as though they were dogs too. Has anyone else experienced this positive relationship between dog and Guineapig? It also led me to think about dogs and small animal allergies as I am awake this early with symptoms myself!

Please be very, very careful. Its lovely that they got on but as I'm sure you realise, that could change in a nanosecond.

Arealhuman thankfully no bad news to report and JoanneF you are so right. Infact, Ted was a bit too close when they were on my lap and I wouldn't have been able to intervene quick enough, without someone getting nipped or worse.
They stay in their outside hutch and they get close through the barricade.
