Dog kennel - experiences or recommendations ?

Hi everyone!

I am looking for a kennel within the London area where my dog can stay for a week in December.

Can anyone recommend a kennel? My price range is between 150 and 250 pounds for 7 days.

My craterias are:

• at least 1 walk a day
• playtime/per day
• outside area
• documentation of his stay (pictures or video)

Anything else I should consider?

And any recommendations, experiences or tips are highly appreciated!

Hi, I'm not sure where in London you are looking, but I live in the East London / Essex area. We use a really fantastic kennel that I would highly recommend, called Bodiam Farm Kennels. Here is the link to their website:

I must say, the pictures do not do it justice! There facilities are beautiful, very clean and obviously animal friendly. The owners are true animal lovers, the dogs are taken into a secure pen (which is huge) where they have individual play time with the owners twice a day (I think). All the kennels also have an outside run area, so they are not confined inside all day.

We have always had a really great experience with them, to the point now that our Boxer (Ruby) goes in with her tail wagging! She always seems relaxed and happy when we collect her.
