Dog Crates

Just wondered if anyone has a coloured dog crate. I believe they come in Black, Pink or Blue? Was wondering if they are really flimsy?

I have a crate for Megan but I bought it 2nd hand from the newspaper and I have had it around 3 years. It is a really heavy gold coloured crate with a black tray. It is sort of rusted a bit in places and was going to do away with it all together and had put it in my garage, but Megan seems lost without it! Even though her bed has been put down where the crate was! Therefore I am thinking of buying a new one. I was thinking of getting a lighter one for her as she is only little.

Would appreciate some feedback.

If she doesn't really need a crate but likes to have it why not get her a soft crate . I googled soft crate and there were loads some of which were pink !

Yes that would be an idea The crate she has is really heavy. I got it when she was speyed, as the vet told me not to let her jump on and off beds and sofas etc. So when I went out and couldn't take her with me I used to put her in it. But she seemed to quite like it Therefore I just kept it up. Last week when I was having all the Estate Agents around I folded it away and put it in the garage, she has been looking for it ever since! With it being a metal the hinges and some of the bottom are a bit corroded if you know what I mean. Maybe the people had it in their garage for ages and the dampness had got to it before I bought it. It was only £15 I paid for it and only really thought it would be for a few weeks then was going to throw it away! If I had known she was going to like it I would have bought a new one to begin with., I suppose it is like a little house/den to her. I always leave the door open. Off to look at the soft crates now :thumbsup:

I have an Anderson dog bed for Fern , its like an Anerson air raid shelter ! I googled it and bought it online it's really good quality and she loves it . Maybe that would suit Megan too as it's like a little den
