Yes.. once met a lab who had had multiple surgeries because he ate all sorts including a battery! He was very friendly but an eater..
Its easy to jump to conclusions but better not to judge a book by its cover..
And, even if a dog wears a muzzle because he does have an iffy temperamant (not looking at anyone in particluar, Jasper...), it doesn't mean that he is about to launch himself at your throat, any more than if I ask you to put your safety belt on it means I'm going to drive at 90 into oncoming traffic. It's just in case something goes wrong.
And a muzzle on a lurcher doesn't mean that he thinks that your small fluffy dog is a rabbit
I've no problems with correctly fitted muzzles, but I don't like the soft ones. Once saw a dog with a soft one on and It could barely open its mouth. So no probs here so long as it's fitted right.
To be honest I think it’s admiral that owners have the cop on to muzzle their dogs for whatever reason. So many unmuzzled dogs that need a bloody muzzle. We have met muzzled pooh eaters, rabbit killers and if they have a treat they will follow that person forever type dogs. It’s funny not any of them are aggressive but people that don’t know them give them a big swerve and yet a couple of them have dogs that need a bloody muzzle!!
