Just going to have a wee bit of a scream before I go mental and blow a fuse,, Why oh why do I have a dishwasher I have left it now for two days in the serious hope that just one other member of this household would fill it up and turn it on!! but no we are now out cutlery and I have to wash half of it up in the sink any way.Its only me what always puts it on and empties it, Might as well get rid of maybe they will wash stuff up then............. ok maybe not. Just wondered if any body else had this situation.

:- " Sounds about normal to me!!! Two teenage kids- load sink immediately to left of dishwasher before considering opening said dishwasher door and placing dishes inside!! As for switching it on? NO definitely not - that's mum's job!!

Dishwasher finished cycle and clean? Do we empty it? No, of course we don't!! We take anything out of it that we might need but NOTHING ELSE!! Anything dirty, naturally gets placed in sink for mum to deal with!!

And is it just teenage kids? NO, my ex was the worst offender which is, of course, where kids learned this behaviour!!!!!
