Digital Camera

I had my laptop pinched & since getting a new one I've had to install things like printer & digital camera again. The problem is that my laptop does not recognise that there is a camera there. So I can't transfer any pics from camera to pc

Has anyone any bright ideas before I go back to the shop with it. It all worked fine with my other laptop so i'm a bit fed up that it won't work now :angry:

Any advice will have to be in idiot speak as that's all I can manage with technical stuff :b

have you got a card reader in the pc? i found this little gem out today as i was having same trouble, slot the card into pc and bobs your uncle!!!

Hi tanya, no I've not got a card reader but I'm going to have to go back to the shop so will see what they say. As soon as i've got it sorted I'll take a pic of Hebe just for you. All my photos went with my laptop as I'd not got them backed up. Stupid of me I know & I'll make sure I don't make that mistake again. So the only pics i have now are those stored in Photobox/bucket & those on here in various posts.

Hopefully It'll all be sorted out soon
