differences between mobile and desktop versions

i usually login on my kindle, but  have just logged in on my laptop. i wasn't aware that there would be so many differences in the versions of the website. there is so much more on the desktop version- i didn't realise- (doh!)

Which Kindle do you have? Is it good for using the internet?

I have the kindle fire 8. It's great for the internet. I use it like a tablet. I rarely use our laptop . I just grab my kindle instead. I don't have anti virus installed on the kindle so don't do banking on it etc . I will say they don't last long though- this is my second one in 3 years.

That's great to know if we go abroad. I can get books in English and browse the net!
