Dessie has asked me to advertise his 1st show of the year which will take place on Saturday 12th May 2012 at Laurencetown. There will be the usual simulated racing and straight racing, along with showing classes for strong dogs,Terriers, Lurchers and whippets. Dessie tells me there will be 3 english judges on the day to judge the different classes. Simulated racing will coomence at 11.30am, followed by straight racing, and the racing finals will be held after the showing.
This show will be a qualifer for the International lurcher and Terrier Championship, to be held later on in the year in the South of England, and also a qualifer for other championships during the year.(Dessie will give full details of these on this site later)
