On Sighthounds Online Summer SOLstice auction there are some Whippet coats by Whippetwear of Australia up for grabs with no takers. The auction ends on Sunday evening at 8 pm.
The beneficiary of the auction is Mary of Dungarvan Kennels.
Mary was the first to set up a rescue in her area of Ireland where animal welfare was non-existent. This was in 1987.

Although Mary takes in all breeds, she has only Greyhounds and Lurchers at present because it's the end of the hunting season and dogs are being dumped everywhere. :cry:
Times are hard everywhere but particularly so in Ireland where rescues are struggling. So please do what you can to contribute to this auction and raise lots of money to help with the care of the sighthounds that are flooding into Mary's rescue.
