having been to derby today[saturday] weigh in 9.30 to 10 .30 people still weigh dogs till after 11.00 don,t mind that but how did it take till 1.30 before programmes were out first race about 1.50 didn,t finish until after 7.00 some dogs were waiting until after 6.0 before first run :clown: :clown: not to bad for people camping at derby but so people were just travelling on the day not fair on most dogs having to wait up to 6-7 hours before having a run in the cold.

Ive been back a couple of hours (totally knackered after 2 days of travelling up north), must say newton aycliffe track is one of the best ones ive been to, the facilities are great and the turnout of dogs was huge....189 .

some fantastic races....show3 was awesome, so was short spot who ran brilliantly to win overall which was some doing as drama queen has been running really well.

waiting 3 hrs for programmes was annoying especially when you had travelled up for the day, with 189 dogs on the card and the worlds slowest photocopier i suppose it was'nt going to be a 5 min job.

today we arrived at 11.45 and the programmes were out and racing started at 12pm ......now you cant complain about that....we even had sunshine!!!!!!!!! .

I was gobsmacked moonpie won the 40lb consolation, and even more gobsmacked that red ranger got into the 40lb final(considering he was supposed to be running in 35lb dogs but weighed out), but knowing show3 was in as well i knew we didnt have a chance but its a derby final.....why not!!!!!!.

must say big well done everyone who entered and good luck all the racers tomorrow
