A great day out was had at the Coursing in Dundalk yesterday with all our Canine friends. The weather was good, no rain in sight, but very cold. Northern Ireland was well represented as many people headed south to the coursing well prepared and well happed up for the weather. Bluebell was there with her camera and took many photographs of the days happenings. Again many thanks Deidre, your photographs are great to look back on. Many congratulations to all the owners and their winning coursing greyhounds and also to all the owners and coursing greyhounds that took part on the day and did not win. You all helped to make this day so successful and enjoyable for everyone. Also many thanks to the Dundalk and Dowdallshill coursing club, for all the hard work your committe put into organising this event . A great day out after all the festivities of Christmas. A few of our folk had a few good wins on the day. Unfortunately I was not so lucky. I backed 3 to win. 2 won and the 3rd lost. But sure look at the fun and excitement it created on the day. To finish the day off , we met up with Deidre and Patsy Mc Coy in Newry Golf Club on the way home when a nice meal was had by all and a few bevvies for the ladies only.
