Dates for opens 2014 please

Has any clubs got dates sorted for 2014 please as I work in a factory we have 2 have our dates in asap only 2 staff off at the same time so need them soon lol also wcra dates and Nationals would be good 2 thanks

These dates are on the whippet club site .

13th April - 1st Championships + Veteran Crown Races

15th June - 2nd Championships bends

27th July - Taunton Vale Open

3rd August - 3rd Championships + Veteran Crown Races

5th October - 4th Championships bends
 
:flowers: Thank you Trish only 2 people can be off our belt in the factory at the same time so hence why i am looking for dates are you thinking of having an open yourselfes ?

Heart of England Bend is always the last sunday in September
 
I've seen the Gloucester dates somewhere on facebook? But can't find them now.

Okay what a plonker I am. They were in Gill's post re the AGM.

Firstly our Open dates for 2014 are June 8th and July 13th, format unchanged from last yea

I THINK YOU WILL FIND THAT THE NPWRA CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING IS 3/8/2014 AND WCRA CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING IS 10/8/2014
 
Trish this is not the official site for the WCRA would suggest this is checked with there Secretary.

The National will be racing on 3th August 2014
 
This is all very confusing for those of us who want the dates early in order to make plans. There are no dates for the 2014 Championships on either the NPWRA website or the Whippet Club website (racing section).

The only dates available are as Trish has pointed out on the 'Unofficial' WCRA website which at least to my knowledge has always got the dates right, and is always kept up to date.

The NPWRA website only states item 5 on the AGM agenda for discussion of dates, no actual dates for 2014 have been given.

The Whippet Club site, although revamped is more useless than it was previously and no dates have been given for 2014.

NPWRA dates, venues, distances etc will be confirmed after our AGM next weekend.

OK - I have just had a look on the WCRA unofficial website and abra-cadabra (w00t) the 3rd Champs is now 10th August. Thanks for pointing this out to us Carol and thanks to whoever amended it. As I said previously it is important for lots of us that we know the dates of all the Opens and Championships as early as possible in order to make plans for the new racing season :thumbsup:

Hi Mandy, what dates yours this year, we are trying to get to your one and need to work our dates out as well?
 
Hi Dave and Sandra sorry not been on the Forum for a while lol we are going 2 have a meeting very soon our xmas nite out is on Sat the 14th of December so we will prob talk about it then or soon after as soon as we know it will be put up on the Forum so that any 1 wishing 2 come will know as quickly as poss will be soooooo Awesome 2 have you both and your crackin dogs come 2 our open lots of people coming this year who have never been 2 Bonnie Scotland so as a club we defo cant wait and also our very good Friends who supp us every year will be coming back hope you and yours are all well have a lovely xmas and a happy new year and see you all in 2014
