Crippled Pointer Dog Stolen From Cumbria

Sometimes I just wonder about people. Poor old dog.

LSOD 2206/8/G:

English Pointer - dog (neutered)

Short coated

Orange and white

Both ears are orange and both sides of the face are orange. Large orange patch on right side of body

Walks with an extrmely bad limp due to a spinal fracture. He is disabled.Has thin, weak, wobbly back legs. Messes in the house.

Age: 7 years

Name is "Shamus"

Stolen from Penrith, Cumbria

Circumstance of loss: STOLEN DURING A BREAK-IN AFTER THREATS AND HARASSEMENT. COULD EVEN BE IN IRELAND, AS HE IS FAMOUS AROUND HERE.

Additional Info: Was stolen with a white goat, the day after 2 woman called at the house wanting water for their Rottweiler ....which could be a coincidence.

I don't get it if someone is pissed off with someone else then why take it out on the dog.

That poor poor dog, if they were p*ssed off with the owner why not let their tyres down or something. Don't take it out on the poor dog. People do truly make me sick sometimes.

They are doing their best to get him back for sure - there are pictures of him in our Vets (Somerset) which is a long way from where he lives.

I feel so desperately sorry for the family, but most of all the dog -who is going to give an old crippled dog the love and care he is used to ?

Here here..............I feel a little pessimistic at this juncture though. It makes you feel ashamed to be a human being some-times

i agree.

the whole thing is so horrible and twisted and it's been such a long time since he was stolen - not to be pessimistic but i really do fear the worst for him

so sad
