Cracked Paw Pad

Hi all

Need some advice please on a cracked paw pad. At the end of my 19 months old Louie's run this morning, i noticed he was limping :> . I had a look under his paw to find quite a deep cracked pad. He dosen't seem to be in pain now, but i wondered if there was anything tried and tested that i could apply to it.

Try some beeswax barrier cream or vaseline maybe?

Thanks for that, i'll have mooch around for some vaseline.
