I have a shih tzu called Mitzi and with this hot weather I have to take great care to ensure she does not overheat. Check out my Facebook page 'Canine Comforts Southampton' for more ideas and I would love to hear yours!
Smoothie pops - Mix pureed fruit with natural fat free yoghurt and freeze in layers, I use strawberries,blueberries, kiwis and bananas or use just 1 part apple juice with 1 part water. Use only as an occasional treat !
Put a cool damp towel under a shady tree and let them enjoy their pops !
