Which colours do you like best in a whippet?

or which colour whippet do you not like ?

i used to hate blue whippets till i got Lisa ..my most favorite colour in light fawns ...
 
I was not too keen on blue whippets Dee, ;) that is untill i got millie. :p :D :p :cheers: ........i must admit i like black whippets best........
 
it doesnt matter to me ive got the worst coloured whip's in racing :angry: . liver n white parti with a chocolate nose and spaniel markings has to be the worst!!!!!!!!!!.

but before i got hobgoblin i wasnt keen on particolour.......now im not keen on liver

:D I USED 2 HATE WHITE ONES BUT NOW IVE GOT 2 WHITE N PARTI COLOURED ONES THEY R MY FAVES. :p IM NOT KEEN ON BLACK (go grey when getting older like us all :lol: ) I ALSO LIKE BRINDLES. NEARLY 4GOT VERY UNUSUAL BUT CHOCOLATE BROWN R GORGEOUS.
 
Poor dog Michelle ..nothing wrong with liver ones ..Galaxy was that colour and a fantastic bitch ..i remember champs at Old hall it was raining heavens high and the guy that had her fastened her up to a post outside bar and left her there while in was drinking ...she was soaking wet ...next day she flew won title ...

I don't care what colour the dog's are. :cheers: . I think I have had most colour's but not liver :p . If they can run it dont matter to me if they were multi coloured :eek:
 
:p AYE DENISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE MICK WITH GALAXY. APPARENTLY HE BOUGHT HER 4 A PINT SHE GOT FED WOTEVER HE WAS HAVING OR SO IVE HEARD ANYWAY. AS FAR AS I KNOW HE HAS STILL GOT HER NEVER SAW HIM 4 A WHILE. BITCH WAS LOVELY. :)
 
Blacks definatly the best colour :D ..........but i don't think there's a colour that i don't like :p ..........Years ago one our greyhounds brother was a Livery kinda colour :oops: .....but i quite liked that aswell :eek:
 
Brindles!!!

I like blacks too when theyre well they look great, not that keen on fawns but if they run who gives a toss :D
 
Steve likes our brindle bitch Badger (Time)-I'm not too bothered either way-but an advantage with the brindle hair is it does'nt show up as much as our fawn and white ones on furniture and clothing.

Badger blends in perfectly out on the fields too where as the white ones stand out like a sore thumb.

Thought Meg looked a real mongrel when I first saw her-white with her parti-coloured patches on her head-but her looks grew on me.

I'd quite like a full liver one though!

Whitey's ok, but he does tend to look like a dalmation at times-he seems to get more and more spots on his skin as time goes by.
 
White is nice in summer when it's dry but not in winter when it's muddy, Kerri also has ton's of "doggy freckles" from Sun worshipping in summer (she gets sunburn too but wont be told). Brindle is good all year round, the muck doesnt show up in winter and malting is definately less visible towards summer. Black is nice except in summer heat and there are so many different shades of fawn it's hard to name them all !!!
 
Brindles definately.

i only chose tig cos he was brindle lol, i like red brindles the best, only thing is tig has got a big white blaze so he still gets really dirty when its wet, the rest of him never shows lol :D i think dad likes black dogs as well, not too keen on them meself, i also like fawn a bit but tig likes white and blue parti colours hey vicky lol

We have two black whippets, Nothing looks as classy as two highly polished black whippets on a sunny day. We are looking for another one at the moment, we would like a blue brindle, but i could snog em all. :*
 
I like all colours, but I was a bit put off blue ones as i owned a blue bitch many years ago and she was mental/off her tree, she used to jump into the kitchen sink even when you were washing dishes, and she never got out of the habbit of sceaming the house down if you left her in. never had a blue one since. still like the colour though.
 
:p blues are nutters Dave i should know lol but i love em still whites and brindles my favorites
 
Hiya, :p we started with a blue bitch and she was nuts ;) raced around the house all the time, stood up in the car when you went racing tiring herself out and even managed to get out of cages :oops: i always said i would never have another blue :b but now i have millie :p and i wouldn't swap her for the world....... :cheers:
