I have a 20 month old shih tzu called Peggy. She has recently been diagnosed with ckd. She is at the stage of sleeping virtually all day, not eating or drinking and just looking sad. I really don't know what to do, apart from sit and stroke her and cry. The vet has said she has about a month left. I don't think it's that long looking at her. What do I do? I don't want her to suffer, how long do I let her be like this? This is so heartbreaking. She hasn't had a life and I was ready for many happy years with her. It's so b**** unfair!!! Any advice?
