I bought one of the M&S Christmas puddings yesterday that have been advertised on the tv.
We decided to try it today to see if it was worth having one on Christmas day, and whether we should buy another. "Prosecco & Orange Topped Christmas Pudding".
Well, yes it was nice and different, but there is no way I would bother to buy another one, and certainly not for another £12.
Package says, serves 8, but husband and myself have just had a 1/4 each this evening, goodness knows how it would serve 8 people!
Sorry but I didn't know where else to put this post:oops:

They always get the number of servings wrong on puddings!

It does look delicious on the adverts!

I’ve just moved it to general discussions rather than general dogs, unless they tried it and gave a verdict also :p

I have tried a bit more tonight, but I took off the orange slices which were covered with the Prosecco sauce and gave this to the dogs! There have been no burps of farts yet:eek:

I have made my own puddings for nearly 30 years now. Id never go back to shop bought.

I used to make my own Christmas cakes, but not for very very many years now:oops:
They were much nicer than any of the shop bought ones.
