I usually buy chicken thighs for Annie and Alf mainly because I can't find anywhere locally who sell the wings.
It does pay to look in the 'reduced for quick sale' meat section when you shop.
I always look to see if mince or chicken is in there and got a real bargain today,
4 x 700gm packs of chicken thighs @99p ea.
They were on offer anyway @ £1.99 and were further reduced to 99p. It worked out I got 2.8kg over (6lb) of them for £3.86.
