Saturday & Sunday 14th & 15th April 2012

Gamekeepers Fair, Catton Park Derbyshire

The Derbyshire Lurchers & Longdogs will be hosting the Lurchers & Terrier events at the BASC Gamekeepers Fair, Catton Park, Walton on Trent, Derbyshire DE12 8LN.

Saturdays features Simulated coursing followed by Beat the Clock competitions for under 23", over 23", roughs & smooths. These will be followed by U23" & O23" straight racing. Possibly fun runs if time allows

Entries taken from 9.30am to start when the 1st coursing card is full.

Sunday events are:- Simulated coursing for the Lara Stormchaser Memorial Trophies,followed by Beat the Clock competitions for under 23", over 23", roughs & smooths. These will be followed by U23" & O23" straight racing.

Entries taken from 8.30am to start when 1st card is full.

Obedience competitions in the afternoon(Sunday only)

Showing for Lurchers & Terriers will start at 2pm approx

Qualifier for Countrymans Weekly Lurcher & Terrier Championships,Earth Dog & Bull X Champs, Pride of the Peaks, Uplands Bull X, Cock of the North, E.A.J.R.C Championships,Lurcherworld Showing Finals for Lurchers & Terriers & Lurcherworld Racing Finals

The Lara Stormchaser Memorial Trophies have been kindly donated by Paul & Sarah Gibson in memory of their superb bitch Lara who sadly died last year.
