Canine first aid course

Im off to a canine first aid course today, a class run by my fab dog trainer . Last year a friend of a friend GSD died after chasing a ball and grabbing it mid air, her poor dog choked on the ball and died in front of her ..that shook me to the core because my dogs love to chase balls but i thought about the panic she must have felt not knowing what to do ...it must have been awful and something that will stay with her for life so when i saw my lovely trainer offered these courses i jumped at the chance . Always better to be safe than sorry...they even have a dog model to practice mouth to mouth on ...looking forward to it

Well that was a fab course, taught basic first aid..everything you would have to deal with till you get to a vet..good to know how to do resuscitation and cardiac massage too..well worth the money
