Cancerous Growth??

Hi,

i was wondering if anybody has seen anything like this before? It started off as a white spot after trauma to his tail after hitting it on the baby gate through excitement. The images are with the scab on and after he pulled it off this evening! He is booked in for the removal of it and i will get him in again ASAP to have it checked now the scab has come off. Nothing has changed regarding weight, appetite and energy levels.

Looks like happy tail ....some greyhounds in kennels get this through wagging their tail ....
Most end up with the tail amputated to stop infection .....hope you can get a vets appointment...
