hi rocky, just to let you know ..i was a very naughty boy this morning. when i was let out for a wee, my dad and me got into the bin and helped myself to a chinese lunch that was left over from the night b4. i was then pukked(not very nice). i then did it again ....so my mam made me run 2 1/2lb overwieght and duly ran like a crab.

Hi John,just back from the vet, it's definately spinal ,don't know how serious but she still can't walk.

Danny, sorry to hear about the injury to your bitch. Spinal injuries can be serious but they can also recover from them with plenty of t.l.c. We had a dogs years ago who had a spine injury and couldn't walk. He would drag his back end along the floor. The vet said what had happened was the spinal bones had opened and "pinched" the spinal cord causing paralasis. After a few weeks he gradually recovered and was back racing after approx. 6 months rest. So they can recover from them - given time. All the best and hope she makes a full recover.
