Book???

Can anyone recommend a basic book about lurchers for someone thinking about getting a beddy/whippet x or similar...

...they want a pet, not work, race or course...

I've found one on ebay 'All About The Lurcher. Katherine Tottenham' is this a good book to start them off with?
